Back in the saddle

Today was the first day of class. Yep, vacation is over. We're back in the saddle again. I didn't teach today, though, so tomorrow really is the first day for me. I went to campus today to get my office in order and, let's be honest, to update my iTunes. I had wings for lunch and man oh man, they were fantastic. Wings hasn't been open all break so I was pretty much in denial. It was a good day.

Tomorrow, the real work starts again. I'm starting at 9 a.m. with what will be an ass-kicking game of racquetball with Mike who might pound me into the ground because I haven't done a thing in a month. Or maybe two. And he so clearly has. But still, a new day in the gym. Go me.

I teach from 2:40-4 MW and then have office hours until 6. So it's going to be a long long day. And a COLD day. It's upposed to be a high of 18, but somewhere around 2 below with wind chill. Winter is late, but here with a vengeance.

I'm going to spend part of tomorrow figuring out my new .Mac account. There's this feature where you can automatically backup your documents, music, pictures, whatever. I think it's worth it to back up my dissertation work. Granted, I have to actually write something in order to back it up. But that's going to happen my friends. Oh yes, it's going to happen.

Facinating.
