There's a West Wing episode where Leo tells Bartlett, "You're going to open your mouth and lift houses off the ground. Whole houses, clear off the ground." This blog used to be about writing a dissertation -- although I'm not sure it was ever really about that. But now it's about my life as a brand new assistant professor, still hoping to lift whole houses off the ground. It's academy meets Ab.

Frustration
Here's what I want to know: Why is there no Buffyverse Trivial Pursuit game? There's Harry Potter. There's Saturday Night Live. There's Friends. Star Wars. But no Buffyverse.
