Progress

It seems to me at one point I implied (or outright stated) that this blog would be, at least in part, about my dissertation. I haven't really talked about that lately, though. Or maybe at all.

So let me just report that I've been making a little progress the last few days -- I wrote about 7 and a half pages yesterday and today (total, not each day) and am pretty happy about that. Right now I'm writing about rhetorical listening and non-identification and hope to be done with this chapter by the end of the month.

Admittedly, that doesn't give me a lot of time, but I think it's possible. I'm done for the day, though. Hit a spot where I need to review a section of Burke before I can keep writing, so I'm going to head home and help the hubby make sushi. And by help I mostly mean I'll shout from the living room, "Need any help?" Don't worry, he's got it covered. Mmmm, maki.
