I'm back in town and throwing myself into my dissertation work. I'm reading about Rogerian rhetoric right now so I can finish my invitational rhetoric chapter draft. That'll be done by the end of the month. I've an incredibly busy summer ahead, but if I keep my focus, it's do-able.
I also just got my invitation to present at the Feminism(s) and Rhetoric(s) Conference this October in Little Rock. The timing is tough (job market anyone?), but I absolutely loved the conference last time and given my interest in, well, feminist rhetorics, it's sort of the place for me. My presentation is based on my dissertation, so it shouldn't be too much more work to get it together but it'll definitely be a working conference.
