Excess

I may have mentioned that I lost my iPod shuffle. It's been gone a few weeks, maybe a month. It's not coming back. So today I bought a replacement. I had been debating between another shuffle or the new iPod nano with video screen. The nano is twice as expensive, but has four times the storage. Unfortunately the 4G nano only comes in silver. this is a drawback. I wanted the sort of aqua green one. But the 8G nano is $200 -- more than I'm willing to pay when I will eventually buy an iPod touch.

So last night I had settled on the shuffle. Now all I had to do was choose between the aqua green and the purple. a tough decision.

Apparently too tough. I bought the new nano.

And I llllllllllooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvve it. Ooooh, new nano.

I justify this expense by reminding myself that I'll need to spend a night in the hospital and it might be nice to have my iPod. that makes sense, right?

I'm scheduled for surgery this Tuesday, but I still haven't quite gotten rid of this cold, so it's possible that it'll have to be postponed. I guess we'll see on Friday.
