Mundane Meme from Meagan

Ahh, alliteration.

Meagan is wondering about "favorites"-- but not books, movies, etc. That's been done before. She's interested in the minutiae of daily life, which can also reveal something about who we are.

So here I go.

Favorite laundry detergent:
This is a trickier question for me than it should be. We use Tide Coldwater. But if it were up to me, I'd use the vanilla lavender scented detergent. I'm a scent junkie. But apparently cops aren't supposed to smell like lavender, so it's coldwater Tide. Although I do use the vanilla lavender fabric sheets.

Favorite item used for an unintended purpose:
I tend to hang clothes for the next day on my Skychair. I love my Skychair for its intended purpose, too, but it works really well for hanging clothes.

Favorite way to buy music:
Lately, iTunes. I'm all about instant gratification.

How clean is your car?
I don't drive (much), but I still paid for half the car, so I feel fine answering this. Right now? The dash is embarrassingly dusty. There's some clutter in it, but not a ton. Mostly it's just dusty.

How clean is your apartment/house/room?
Not in terrible shape. Lately it's been a disaster, but it has recently been vacuumed and lightly dusted. Like the car, there's some clutter around, a few dishes to be done, but it's not nearly as bad as it has been. That said, I wouldn't be particularly happy about having new or newish friends over in this apartment condition.

How clean is your office?
Very. I echo Meagan. Not a lot of space to work with. Plus, I'm not there much.

Favorite weekly free time:
That depends. Typically, it's whenever Tim has the night off.

Is there a word, phrase, or gesture that is identifiably yours?
I imagine there are a few. Tim would say, "yes, but" is one of mine. I also tend to end sentences with "yeah?" As in, "We should do the dishes soon, yeah?" and I'm a big fan of "I know, right? Right??" But I'm definitely not the only one who uses it. Finally, I get shit for saying, in a sort of crescendo and a slight WI accent, "No, no no."

Most effective medicine for one (or more) of your ailments:
I like Dayquil and Nyquil, although, to be fair, less lately. I, too, like the weird vicks stick. And I tend toward massive amounts of Zicam.

A favorite thing you try to sell/push/encourage your friends to try:
Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Supernatural, lip plumpers

Favorite new (or new-to-you) thing:
Sushi. Definitely sushi. LOVE sushi.
